The FumeTrap™ provides a safer soldering environment by
drawing fumes away from the person soldering and traps them in a disposable activated
charcoal filter.
Key Features:
- A 110 CFM, axial type fan provides maximum fume absorption up to 12-14" away. CFM
is Cubic Feet Per Minute and measures the volume of air replaced each minute by the fan.
The
disposable activated charcoal filter cartridge "snaps" into the rear of
the housing and is easy to install or remove.- Replacement filters are sold three to a package.
There is no time interval recommended for replacement of the activated charcoal filter
since usage of the unit will vary. The indications that replacement is necessary will be a
visible blockage of the filter when holding the cartridge up to the light and it feels
tacky or sticky to the touch.
